It’s been 10 years since the release of Frozen! Disney is celebrating this huge milestone with 10 weeks of fun! Read more about that in this post.

One big way Disney is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Frozen is with World of Frozen. This immersive land is home to new attractions, delicious food, and so many fun elements that bring the story to life.

It opens in November at Hong Kong Disneyland. Disney has shared a ton of new details about what we can expect to see.

It definitely makes us wonder what a Frozen Land could look like at Disney World! Let’s take a look.

Two parts

First, it’s important to note that World of Frozen is broken up into two areas: Frozen village and Frozen forest. Frozen village is where most of the residents of Arendelle live and many iconic landmarks.

The bridge connects to the forest area. This is more reminiscent of the adventures the characters have in the first two movies.

Attractions

Disney created two attractions for World of Frozen. First, Frozen Ever After is the same attraction we know and love at Epcot! One big difference is they are using much more advanced technology for the animatronics. No more projected faces on Anna and Elsa! Read more about that HERE.

Second, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs is a family-friendly roller coaster. On this ride, you will embark on an exciting journey through the forest with stunning views of the land.

We would love to see this ride come to the United States!

Characters

Playhouse in the Woods is a theatrical experience set against the backdrop of Elsa’s secret childhood hideaway. It is similar to the Frozen Sing-along show at Hollywood Studios but with a different story.

Not only can you meet Anna and Elsa at Playhouse in the Woods, more Frozen friends can be found throughout the land. Say “hoo hoo” to Oaken or ask Kristoff for his best ice advice. They are excited to celebrate Summer Snow Day with you!

Food and Shopping

A quick-service restaurant, called Golden Crocus Inn, features a variety of offerings inspired by delicious Norwegian homey food. Enjoy everything from seafood to pasta in the village!

Next, Northern Delights is an upscale neighborhood sweets shop. It features a variety of desserts and sweets, packaged gift confectionery, and cooking goods galore. Did someone say chocolate?!

Over at Arendelle Forest, Forest Fare features churros, cookies, shaved ice and more. It’s just the bit of extra fuel you need to take on Arendelle.

World of Frozen contains two shopping locations so you can find the perfect gifts. First, Tick Tock Toys and Collectibles has all the best goodies to bring home. Plus, the “Royal Post of Arendelle” is located right outside the shop. This is where you can send postcards to friends and family.

Located in Arendelle Forest, Traveling Traders is the perfect little spot to pick up small gifts. Find keychains, shoulder plush, headbands and more!
