We know this is a lot to digest, but Disney has just announced BIG price increases. You may not want to hear it, but your next trip to Walt Disney World will cost quite a bit more. Check out all of the price increases announced and when they go into effect.
Big Price Increases
Get ready for your next trip to the Disney Parks to cost even more. We have several price increases for Annual Passes, park tickets, parking fees, and event Disney Genie+. To say the least, this is not the news we were hoping for.
Not only this, but at Walt Disney World the prices for Memory Maker have also increased starting TODAY! We all know that price increases are inevitable, but to be made with little to no warning is a lot to handle. This is especially true for Disney guests with a rather tight budget who are currently at the Parks or will be traveling soon.
Along with all of this bad news, Disney did bring in some great news to help soften the blow a bit. Find out why January 9, 2024, will be the BEST DAY EVER at Walt Disney World.
More Ticket Price Increases
As if the above-mentioned price increases were not enough, now Walt Disney World water parks will also see a price increase. This one kind of surprised even us since they have been offering so many promotions to draw guests to the water parks such as the Seasonal Pass.
At this time, Typhoon Lagoon is the only water park open while Blizzard Beach is currently closed. With only one water park operational, now seems like an odd time to increae ticket prices.
A one-day water park ticket is now $74 plus tax (prior $69) and from $63 to now $68 for children (ages 3-9). Guests do have an option to purchase a one-day park ticket with blackout dates starting at $64 for adults and $58 for children (ages 3-9).
Water Park ticket prices are also on the rise at Walt Disney World.
Guests hoping to relax at one of Walt Disney World miniature golf courses will also see a price increase. Previously adults could enjoy a round of mini-golf for just $14. This is now increased to $19. Thankfully the price for children (ages 3-9) remains the same at $12.
What do you think of these price increases? Do you think this is too much? Will this change what your next trip to Walt Disney World will look like? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
