Disney apparently likes to use October 11 to increase prices on just about everything from park tickets and parking, to Genie+ and food. This is now the second year in a row we have received a slew of updates from Disney regarding price increases.

Here’s a quick snapshot of what we have seen so far today. Clicking any of the red links will take you to the full story.

Food Changes

We typically see the price of food change more frequently throughout the year. This can occur in smaller, less noticeable batches. Or, like today, it feels more noticeable with all the other changes.

Hundreds of food and beverage items have increased in price across The Walt Disney World Resort. Most of these are small – ranging from 20 cents to $2.00. However, when you account for every single food item throughout your trip, you are looking at pretty hefty increase overall.

We simply cannot list out every single item. But let’s take a look at one restaurant: Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

  • Korean-style Impossible Burger: $13.29 to $13.79
  • Large Pizza: $18.99 for cheese and $19.99 for pepperoni to $20.99 for cheese and $21.99 for pepperoni
  • M&M Sugar Cookie: $3.49 to $3.99
  • Mermaid Tail Cupcake: $6.49 to $6.79
  • Side of Scrambled Eggs: $2.99 to $3.49
  • Pretzel with Hummus: $4.79 to $4.99

Even table-service restaurants are now more expensive. For example, Be our Guest has increased in price from $62/adult and $39/child to $70/adult and $41/child.

Again, while this may not seem like a lot on its own, it quickly adds up for every meal during each day of your vacation. Be sure to budget accordingly!
