There are so many great reasons to visit Magic Kingdom on dates of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This new one we just discovered makes it even better!
Halloween Party Days
Halloween is well underway at Walt Disney World with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. On party dates, the Magic Kingdom closes for all-day guests at 6:00 pm. Those guests with tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 pm.
This has led many guests to avoid Magic Kingdom on party days. One benefit of visiting Magic Kingdom on party dates is that the park opens early to guests. On non-party dates, the Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 a.m. for all guests and 8:30 a.m. for guests at Disney Resorts.
On Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dates, all guests can enter the park at 8:00 a.m. and Disney Resorts can enjoy early entry at 7:30 a.m. Be sure to check out our full article detailing the benefits of visiting the Magic Kingdom on these dates HERE.
TRON Advantage
These are all great reasons to visit the Magic Kingdom on days also offering Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but there is also another HUGE advantage.
TRON is a coaster like none other in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. This attraction is so different than other attractions, so be sure to check out everything that you need to know about riding TRON HERE.
Like many new attractions at Walt Disney World, a traditional standby line is not available. All Guests have 2 options to enjoy this ride with both a FREE virtual queue or to pay for an Individual Lighting Lane. Guests have the option to do both to experience this attraction 2 times in a single day.
Guests receive notifications when their boarding group is called. In the past, guests could return at any time after their Boarding Group was called. Since this attraction opened, the virtual queue return times have been quite rigid. If they arrive later than their return time, many guests are turned away.
Now on days offering Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, there is a bit more leniency with the virtual queue return time for TRON. This morning it now shows that guests can arrive any time today once their boarding group is called.
This is great news that we have not yet experienced at TRON. It is likely that this is offered on party nights as guests without a party ticket must leave the Magic Kingdom before night falls.
This along with lower crowds is a great reason to choose Magic Kingdom on party nights.
