Character Interactions

There is nothing quite like meeting your favorite Disney and Pixar characters while at the Disney Parks. Of course, meeting classics such as Mickey and his pals and the princesses is great, but there is something magical about meeting characters away from traditional meet and greet setting.
Best Night Ever
During my first trip to Walt Disney World back in 1991, I (Donna) remember there were characters all throughout Walt Disney World. Character interactions have changed quite a bit throughout the years. These are now more traditional character meet and greets as opposed to the roaming characters that are more common at Disneyland.
When we hear of roaming characters at Walt Disney World, this reminds us of these fun, magical surprises. Last night during Happily Ever After a few guests received the most magical experience ever.
Most guests crowd the Castle Hub and all along Main Street, USA to see the dazzling projections of Happily Ever After. We chose a different location last night behind Cinderella Castle.
A portion of Fantasyland is roped off during the fireworks for health and safety protocols, but last night Cinderella joined us to watch the fireworks. This moment captured as Cinderella watches the fireworks with this little princess is priceless.
These are the magical Disney moments that no one can really plan for, but when they happen…it is magic.
The princesses that appeared roaming are the same princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Last night around 9:20 pm, Cinderella came and roamed throughout Fantayslyand interacting with guests. At 10:00 pm Ariel, Jasmine, Snow White, and Aurora joined guests on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.
After their royal ride on the Carrousel, each princess roamed for a few minutes. Guests can interact and take a quick photo with the princess, but there are no lines that form or PhotoPass photographer present.
This is not a scheduled meet and greet and this may happen one night and be missing the next. If this does happen when you visit, enjoy the true magic that only Disney can create. Check out our video from this magical evening:

This happened to us at MK over Memorial Day weekend. We got to see them ride the carousel. It was a really cool "extra magic" moment.
