Elemental
Disney and Pixar’s upcoming feature-length animated film has imaginations running wild. This is because Elemental takes place in a world devoid of humanity, much like Cars.
In this city, fire, water, land, and air residents live together. The various residents are made entirely from their own elements. However, when firey Ember and a splashing fellow called Wade come together, their journey helps them discover all they have in common.
When Can you See It?
Elemental is set to have its release on June 16, 2023. This movie will come to theaters rather than going straight to Disney+ unlike some films such as Soul and the live-action version of Pinocchio. Of course, we also know that every now and then Disney delays films.
For example, a whole host of movies from Marvel has been delayed. You can read the full story here. But, for now, at least, Elemental’s release date is on track! We should be able to see whether opposite elements attract or repel (or perhaps a little of both) this summer.
The New Teaser Trailer
We got a fun look at the concept art and the first images from Elemental at D23. And, now Pixar and Disney have given us a new teaser trailer to hype the film. You can watch it right here in the post.
Having characters made entirely of fire and water must have been a unique challenge for animators. It will be interesting to see the whole thing unfold on the big screen in a few months!
