Due to Hurricane Ian, Disney World shut down. Now, Disney has a plan to get theme parks operating on normal hours.
Phased Reopening
Disney World has been gradually returning to normal operations. As of today, Disney World theme parks are operating with modified park hours. Not only that, but Disney offered an amazing perk with these hours today for on site guests.
Disney also shared news on when closed resorts should expect to reopen. In addition, Disney transportation resumed operations today. However, due to limits, Disney encouraged guests to use their own personal transportation to get to the parks!
Today’s Park Hours
Take a look at park hours for today, Friday, September 30.
Magic Kingdom: 8 am early theme park entry with a 10 am official park opening for all Guests. Guests attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party can enter at 4 pm, and the park closed at 6 pm. 7 pm to 12 am is the official party time.
Epcot: 9 am early theme park entry with an 11 am official park opening for all Guests. The park will close at 9 pm.
Hollywood Studios: 10 am early theme park entry with a 12 pm official park opening for all Guests. The park closes at 9 pm.
Animal Kingdom: 11 am early theme park entry with a 1 pm official park opening for all Guests. The park closes at 7 pm. Animal Kingdom had a rough day with many attractions not operating.
Disney Springs: 10 am to 11:30 pm
Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course: 3 pm to 10 pm.
Resuming Normal Operations

Tomorrow, October 1 is EPCOT’s 40th Anniversary! We’re pleased to announce that not only will EPCOT be open tomorrow, but all Disney World theme parks resume regular park hours tomorrow also.
