Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
The incredible Halloween-themed event is back at Disney World after a two-year break! This party boasts parades, stage shows, special fireworks, character meets, trick-or-treating, and SO much more.

Missing Characters
These special events are usually great times to meet many rare characters that you cannot find any other time of year. Unfortunately, it appears Disney really slimmed down on this particular offering because we counted 13 characters that did not return this year! You can see them below:
- 7 Dwarfs
- Tarzan, Jane, and Terk
- Cruella DeVil
- Lotso
- Moana
- Boo (not at dance party)
Any replacements?
To add insult to injury, none of these characters were replaced with new meets! That is a lot of character opportunities missing this year.
To be sure, Kenny the Pirate checked for these meet and greets before it began to rain. Oftentimes the weather will impact entertainment offerings. For example, last night the first showing of the Boo To You parade was canceled due to weather.
You can still meet many previous favorites like Jack and Sally, Alice and the Mad Hatter, Aladdin with Abu, Belle and Gaston, and more. Character Locator is update with the most up-to-date information on character meets and entertainment schedules.

Some of them have returned. I think you should add this in there and that they might add more over time.

To be fair they are still hiring people and maybe the weather did have a hand in it. Since Cruella did do the supruse meet and greet last year it is possible weather had a hand in it. May e this should be added to the article. Let's just wait and see what happens next.
