Park Hours
Almost every week, the Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours as Disney releases them. These initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip. We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.
Disney World also frequently extends their park hours and adjusts them for crowd levels. Sometimes you can get a little more extra park time!
Extended Hours
We have already seen a few extended hours released for this summer. Check those out HERE and most recent ones HERE. I (Maggie) do not know about you, but more park times means more FUN!
Don’t forget if you are staying at one of the Deluxe Resorts to take advantage of the Extended Evening Hours. You can find the schedule for this benefit through the month of August HERE.
August Hours
Hours for all four parks at Walt Disney World have been extended for the month of August. Check out all of the hours right here. The most noticeable change in hours is at the Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom will open at 8:00 a.m. on August 12, 16, 19, 23, and 26, with early entry for resort guests at 7:30 a.m., and will close at 6:00 p.m. The early closing is due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
On August 18th, the park will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
On the following dates, the park will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m. Those dates are as follows: August 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 22, 25, and 27.
EPCOT
From July 31st through August 27th, the park will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m., with Early Entry available for resort guests at 8:00 a.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Early Entry begins at 8:00 a.m. with regular park hours from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from July 31st through August 27th.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom continues to open to guests at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.
