Accessing Pictures

Although taking photos is a “free” service, unless you purchase an Annual Pass that includes photos, you’ll need to purchase Memory Make to access all your pictures. Also, you see all pictures (with a watermark) without purchasing Memory Maker to give you a sneak peek.

Magic Kingdom Locations

One of the most iconic locations of all is in front of Cinderella Castle on Main Street, USA. Every trip, this is a must for me! In addition, you’ll find photographers in each of the lands inside Magic Kingdom. At times, you can get your picture taken in front of the train station, too.

New Spot

Tour the island modeled after that Swiss Family Robinson built after they were shipwrecked on a deserted island. Cross a bridge at the foot of a large leafy tree and climb handcrafted wooden stairs. Then, explore the living quarters of these adventurers.

Those guests who reach the 6-story-high summit of the treehouse will enjoy 360-degree views of Adventureland and Magic Kingdom park, particularly Jungle Cruise river. In order to reach the top of the treehouse, you must be able to climb a total of 116 stairs. Now, you can get your picture taken with the Swiss Family Treehouse in the background without climbing a single stair!

When I asked about Magic Shots here, the Cast Member shared he hoped Disney would add one, but since it’s such a new location it hasn’t been done yet.

Amazing Pictures

This week, after exiting the Jungle Cruise, I (Susan) spotted a Disney Photopass Photographer on the right side. Although I couldn’t tell what the shot was, I recognized it was a new spot and eagerly gave it a try. It was so cool seeing Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse in the background.

In addition, the photographer took a horizontal shot with lots of “jungle” foliage behind us taken at this location.
