On October 1, 1971 Disney World opened up its gates for the first time. Much of the operating procedures back then are the same as they are today. Guests paid to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then either took the monorail or ferry boat to The Most Magical Place on Earth.

While the layout of the park has largely stayed the same (with expansions), the attractions that have come and gone since that time have changed immensely. Guests could buy different categories of tickets allowing them to ride certain attractions. See how Magic Kingdom has changed through the years HERE.

Sofia has a long Disney history and is a big fan of Coca-Cola and Walt Disney World. “I feel so honored to be partnering with Coca-Cola and Disney to celebrate 50 years of Walt Disney World,” she said. “An ideal day at Walt Disney World, for me, would be spending the day with my family making memories.”

To celebrate the 50-year partnership between Walt Disney World Resort and Coca-Cola, five unique co-branded collectible bottles are available.

Starting today, these can be exclusively purchased at Disney World Parks. Also, there are four different bottles featuring each of the 4 park icons with their own unique EARidescent color on the labels.

Not only that, a fifth bottle is available with a special gold label. The bottles are shaped just like the bottles that were sold at Walt Disney World when it opened in 1971!
