Disney Cruise Line has released information on purchasing exclusive merchandise commemorating its newest ship in the fleet. Read on to see which special guests have priority access to purchasing the limited merchandise.
Disney Cruise Line Pre-Sale Website
For guests that are sailing on the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Wish on July 14, 2022, Disney Cruise Line has set up a pre-sale website to purchase exclusive inaugural merchandise.
At the moment, guests sailing on the inaugural sailing have priority on purchasing merchandise. Future sailings are excluded. However, it is unknown if additional merchandise will become available for later sailings on the Disney Wish.
Disney Cruise Line implementing an online pre-sale is a good idea. Many guests complained during the Disney Dream’s Inaugural sailing in 2012 that merchandise sold out within hours of guests standing in lines at the shops.
Buy It Now Catalog
At the moment, there are two ways to purchase merchandise as noted on the DCL website:
Guests can browse the “Buy It Now Catalog,” and make a list of the item numbers to purchase. Orders will then be submitted at the following website. All purchased items will be conveniently waiting for guests aboard the Disney Wish Maiden Voyage.
Items within this catalog include sweatshirt hoodies, t-shirts, kids play sets, an Inaugural Snow Globe, Disney Wish Cinderella Statue Collectible and a Disney Wish Desktop Ship Collectible.
Random Selection Process (RSP) Catalog
The Random Selection Process (RSP) limited merchandises is NOT guaranteed and will only be available while supplies last. This is a first opportunity offer, meaning some quantities may be held back from the RSP and available onboard. Maiden Voyage guests may make a list of the items they wish to purchase and submit those requests via a special website.
Disney will notify guests via email who have been awarded any of the limited-quantity items. All purchased items will be conveniently waiting for guests aboard the Disney Wish!
These items include: Maiden Voyage Deluxe Print, Tervis cups, pins, ornament, Loungefly headbands and backpack, Alex & Ani Bangle Bracelet, bracelets and charm sets, various Dooney & Bourke purses, watches and various collectibles.
At the moment guests do not know if the items will be available in guest staterooms or if a special pick up location will be available.
