Disney VIP tours were originally started in Disneyland by Walt Disney himself. He wanted to help Guests receive a great day in the Park by having a personal guide to enjoy all of the magic.

The current VIP Tour experience does not include Theme Park admission or a Park Pass reservation. Both of these must be obtained by the Guest. A VIP tour may only be booked for a minimum of 7 continuous hours and can include up to 10 Guests including infants.

The traditional VIP Tour costs $425-$750 per hour depending on the season. With each tour being a minimum of 7 hours this could cost anywhere between $2,800-$5,250 which does not include Park tickets or any other additional fees.

Today, Walt Disney World announced a limited time 50th Anniversary Tour. Guests will first start at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This was one of the first resorts that welcomed Guests in 1971. Guests will enjoy a tour of the newly refurbished Tri-Circle D Ranch. From here, Guests will enjoy a private charter to Magic Kingdom.

The Walt Disney World website shares, “You’ll see a select few of your favorite attractions in a new light as we reveal some of our best behind-the-scenes secrets. Travel back in time and discover how Walt’s passions inspired the offerings available throughout Disney Parks today and get a sneak peek of some exciting things to come.”

While at the Magic Kingdom, you will enjoy a delicious meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant. You may even see our favorite hosts, the Beast, roaming throughout his castle while you enjoy your meal.

Your VIP Tour Guide will then lead your traveling party aboard the monorail to visit EPCOT. “Upon arrival, you’ll get a look into the stunning transformation of the park and discover what happens when the power of human imagination is combined with the magic of Disney.”

You will even be able to shrink down the to the size of a rat and enjoy EPCOT’s newest attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. “At the end of your trip, your Disney VIP Tour Guide will give you a finale moment befitting a magical day!”

This could imply a special viewing location for EPCOT’s Harmonious. However, the Walt Disney World website has not confirmed if this is the “finale moment” or not.

This is an interesting concept that would allow you to experience the Disney Parks and truly take in the 50th Anniversary experience, but what about the price? The 50th Anniversary Tour is for up to 6 Guests and will cost a rumored $6,500.

This price does not include the price a Park Hopper ticket that would also be required for each member of your touring party. This quite a bit of information to take in. This tour can last up to 8 hours and will no doubt be magical, but this will definitely be outside the budget for many Disney Guests.

The 50th Anniversary Tour is for up to 6 Guests and will cost a rumored $6,500.

Guests are encouraged to make advanced reservations by calling (407) 560-4033. There are also black-out dates for these 50th Anniversary Tours. These will include the following dates: November 25 through November 27, 2021 and December 25, 2021 through January 1, 2022.

What do you think of this new tour? Do you think it is worth the large price tag? Have you enjoyed a VIP tour in the past? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.

Disney continuing its move away from the average park visitors to the elite with its money grabbing plans. Everything that was previously included with a resort reservation or park pass has or will be disappearing so that they no longer provide or are now charging for. Example Disney’s Magical Express and Fast Passes. I understand they are a business but have now changed to official money grabbers.

For $6500, Chepak himself should be giving the tour (and I would pay the $6500 to give Chepak a piece of my mind for 8 hours).
