As the crowds begin to grow for the Spring Break season, we see additional attractions loading at full capacity. Check out which Guest-favorite ride is currently loading at full capacity.

Health and Safety at Reopening

Disney Guests have experienced reimagined magic with the reopening of Walt Disney World. In many ways we love this new magical experience at Walt Disney World. We still feel that in many ways Walt Disney World is still “the most magical place on earth.”

As additional Guests return to the magic, Walt Disney World has reimagined health and safety protocols to allow for more Guests to enjoy attractions. Many attractions in all 4 Disney World Theme Parks have seen the addition of plexiglass dividers to select attractions.

Some attractions have bypassed the use of plexiglass dividers in an effort to load at full capacity. Recently we have seen the following attractions load at fully capacity without the use of plexiglass: Test Track and Expedition Everest.

Test Track and Expedition Everest are loaded at full capacity without the use of plexiglass dividers.

Now an attraction in the Magic Kingdom is loading Guests every row without the use of plexiglass dividers.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is an iconic roller coaster at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Since there are versions of this ride in Disney Parks all over the world, you have lots of opportunities to experience this wild ride! You can enjoy a full ride video of this attraction HERE.

I know my family loves to conquer all 3 of the mountains at the Magic Kingdom during each trip (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.) Previously this ride had Guests load every other row to allow for social distancing. This led to even greater wait times for this attraction.

Today, Cast Members are loading Guests in every row of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Social distancing markers are still in place as Guests pass through the queue for this attraction.

This will undoubtedly help the line for this fan-favorite attraction move much quicker. Which will allow additional time in your Magic Kingdom touring plan.

Cast Members are now loading Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at full capacity.

What do you think of this change? Do you think that these attractions loading at full capacity is a sign that things are getting back to “normal”? What attraction do you think may be loaded at full capacity next? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
