Walt Disney World Resort President Josh D’Amaro wants us to know that despite the closure of Disney Parks, some of the most special ceremonies continue to occur each day.

While Walt Disney World Resort currently remains closed due to the concerns of the rapidly spreading coronavirus, Disney has kept us in touch with some pieces of magic from home.

We recently heard from the Dapper Dans, who are continuing to spread magic through song! While they can’t be on Main Street, USA, they won’t let that stop them from harmonizing our favorite Disney tunes!

Disney has shared several different tutorials on how to draw our favorite Disney characters! We can’t get enough of this how to draw Mickey tutorial, or the new way to bring the animation experience to our own homes!

Virtual Viewing for the "Magic Happens" Parade

They even shared the new Magic Happens parade from Disneyland, so we could recreate the parade experience at home.

Today, Walt Disney World Resort President Josh D’Amaro took to Instagram to share a touching piece of magic from “home.”

Despite the closure of Magic Kingdom Park, the flag ceremony is still taking place each day. Cast Members busy protecting the magic continue to raise the flag each morning. Have a look.

D’Amaro states:

“While our world looks very different today, one thing endures…the American flag still flies over Walt Disney World. I’m inspired how our Security Cast Members continue to raise it each and every morning at Magic Kingdom while they are on duty protecting the magic. It’s a symbol that we’re still here and will not falter. I hope this inspires you as well. We will be back. Thanks to all our incredible Cast Members who continue to maintain the magic until that day. Until then, please take care of yourselves and your families. We will see you soon.”

This touching video and photo certainly inspired me this morning. I hope it will for you, as well.

I love this! We watched the ceremony on our trip in October, and it was so special.
