Many guests have the date for this year’s Dapper Day creatively penned in their planner. There has been a slight change to the date for Disneyland’s Dapper Day and Dapper Day Expo. Read more to see how this may affect your future trip and to learn more about this experience.
What Is Dapper Day?
Dapper Day is a day for Disney guests to come and enjoy the Disney parks in true style and flair. This unofficial gathering began in 2011 when guests chose to join together on select dates to dress up and enjoy the Disney parks in vintage clothing.
These unofficial gatherings are held at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in both the fall and the spring seasons and they have quite a following.

Dapper Day Spring Dates for Disneyland
The spring dates for Disneyland’s Dapper Day were set for April 18 and April 19, 2020. In conjunction with these dates, a Dapper Day Expo was also scheduled to be held in the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall.
Disneyland has not updated the temporary closure of its park. The Disneyland website still states that both Disneyland and California Adventure is temporarily closed from March 14 until March 31, 2020.
Dapper Day is an unofficial event, separate from Disney Operations. This Dapper Day spring event has been postponed in case the park may remain temporarily closed further into April.
Originally the Dapper Day Expo was set for April 18-April 19, with April 19th being the date to dress up for a fun day in the Disney Parks. The new date for the Dapper Day Expo will be June 20-21, 2020. This is still planned to be held in the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall.
This schedule change also brings some good news, guests are encouraged to dress in their Dapper Day finest both June 20th and the 21st in the Disneyland Parks.
Dapper Day at Disney World
The spring dates for Dapper Day at Walt Disney World are set for May 1-May 3, 2020. Currently, these dates haven’t been altered. We will keep watching if these dates may change and update you if needed.
