Love is in the air! It’s almost time for Valentine’s Day and if you are lucky enough to be spending the holiday visiting Walt Disney World, we have ten tips on how to make it a romantic day for you and your sweetheart.
While Walt Disney World is known for being a place to go with families and children, it can also be very romantic! Let’s count the ways on how to make sure Cupid finds his way to your Walt Disney World vacation.
1.Dine by candlelight
Enjoy dining by candlelight at one of your favorite restaurants in the parks or resorts. Think about dining at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom, while enjoying dinner in the Grand Ballroom.
Or enjoy a romantic dinner for two at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort while you enjoy a view of the Happily Ever After fireworks.
2. A romantic stroll around the countries of Epcot or Disney’s Boardwalk
Think about how romantic it will be holding hands while you take a romantic stroll around all of Epcot’s countries or on Disney’s Boardwalk.
3. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride
Take one of the chartered cruises offered and sail around the International Gateway near World Showcase Lagoon and watch the firework spectacular over Epcot.
Or, you could sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake to the Magic Kingdom.
Another option is one of the specialty cruises like the Ferrytale Fireworks Dessert Cruise or Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. Advance reservations are highly recommended for both of these cruises.
4. Movies Under the Stars
Many of the resorts offer complimentary movie screenings to resort guests. Relax and have an enjoyable evening with your sweetheart watching your favorite Disney movie under the stars.
5. Buy your sweetheart some perfume or jewelry at one of the stores in the parks.
Valentine’s Day is celebrated with perfume and jewelry, right? Why not grab your sweetie some perfume from the Norway Pavilion in Epcot or jewelry from Pandora at Disney Springs.
If you’re shopping for a guy, the Art of Shaving store in Disney Springs would be a good place to pick something up.
The Basin White shops at Disney Springs and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has soaps, lotions, candles, and bath salts if your loved one enjoys being pampered.

Both Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs are home to Senses. The Grand Floridian has both spa and salon services, and Saratoga Springs has spa services.
Everything from massages and facials to hairstyles and makeup applications can be booked at Senses. Consider spending an afternoon being pampered together and then enjoy your favorite romantic dinner.
