The Prince Charming Regal Carrousel unextpectedly popped up on the Magic Kingdom refurbishment list this morning. Here’s the closure dates:
The carrousel in the Magic Kingdom is located behind Cinderella Castle and is very popular with families with young children. You’ll find that it is now listed as being closed from July 10-30, 2018. I’ve added it to my Refurbishments list and is marked as closed during that time frame on Character Locator as well!

Why? What is wrong with it. I guess the horses need to be repainted.

They've had temporary plain tarps up the walls the past couple times we were there, including last week. Looked like canvas just stapled up. I'm not surprised it's closing for a while so they can sort out whatever is behind the wall coverings.

Wasn't it just refurbed? I was there for the Princess Half Marathon & it was covered then. Maybe it's something mechanical that just popped up & happened.

We’ll be there the 20th. Stinks that the carousel and the riverboat will be down concurrently.
