  1. I will be at the March 21st AK event. I am still hopeful you’ll have some advance info so I have a shot at “planning” the party. Side note, I have one ‘extra’ spot so if you want to tag along through the gate with us, you’re welcome to do that.

    • Only Characters that didn’t come out for the monsoon were hippo and ostrich, but they did let the dance party characters do meets

  2. Thank you, enjoyed the info. We are going on the 6th. I am trying to find out what special merchandise will be available. Is there a pin.

  3. Staying at OKW. At other moonlight events we could pick up our bands 30 minutes before we were allowed in the park. This time they said DVC would not show up until 6:30 so at 5:30 we got in line for a bus. First ones out there. 40 minutes later a bus showed up and we got on with our carts but there were 6 carts behind us waiting. They might make it before midnight. Not happy so far.

  4. Your post lists the Ariel’s Grotto meet and greet being open during the party, but I didn’t see anyone mention it who went. Is that information still correct? Thanks.

  5. So excited. Am planning to attend the event on January 28th. Thank you for sharing the info, now I can start planning the evening. Do you know if the characters meet until midnight? Trying to level set the expectations of how many we will be able to meet during the event.

  6. So we went last night and it was pretty cool. Lines to the major rides we’re about 15-20 minutes, but the rare character lines were 60+ minutes and never really went down. Fireworks were awesome, and there was plenty of free food (hot dogs, chicken strips, bean burgers, chips, cookies, apples, ice cream treats, soft drinks). You can’t beat free, but wish it lasted longer so you can actually enjoy a couple character meets and rides.

  7. What is the transportation and/or parking situation like during events like these? Does the monorail run the entire time?

  8. Awesome info. Do you know if you plan to post the other Moonlight Magic event info for the other parks? We will be there for one of the AK events. Thank you.
