The trees will be lit for the first time on November 11, 2016 and I’ll be on hand for photos and videos for you, since you’re all on my NICE list!
Will Santa be there on the 11th?
No
Thanks for all the exciting updates and info for Christmas! We’ll be there and simply can’t wait. Looking forward to your pics and post about the tree lighting!! I’m sure it will be very magical :)
Can you recommend a good hotel that is more on the affordable end and maybe a rental cars drive or an uber drive away from downtown Disney? My husband recently became a flight attendant and I’m considering flying standby down there for a couple days with my kids. Thanks for any recommendations!
Downtown Disney has some nice hotels that usually aren’t very costly. I usually search for available rental car discount codes when I need one.
I’ll check them out, thanks!
Dollar rent a car always has great rental codes and I always get a car for under $250.00 for the entire week, that is after all the taxes and fees…..and I usually rent a mini van which is usually more expensive.
What day are the trees available through?
At least New Year
Do you think they would keep them up through marathon weekend..Jan 8
Not sure
I love Disney’s Trees.. I was so sorry when Camp Mickey/Minnie was closed because that also was the end of special themed Christmas trees. Now new trees. I can not wait for our trip in December. Thank for the update!
I miss Camp Minnie Mickey too. Loved the characters in costume there too.
Keep the updates coming, Kenny!!! We are visiting for Christmas, and I just keep adding all your info to my must see list!!!!
We only live about an hour away so I’m trying to talk my husband into driving down to see the trees….Sound soooo nice!
29 days… can’t wait!!!! Thanks for all the updates Kenny!
PLEASE tell us where the Beauty and the Beast tree is…it’s my favorite!
They haven’t provided exact locations
I’m both excited and sad to see all of the Disney Christmas posts! Excited because I LOVE Christmas and Disney, but a little sad because I was supposed to go to WDW for Christmas this year, but had to switch to next year.
