Tusker House restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom to offer Rivers of Light reserved seating
Some tidbits of information can be left like bread crumbs along a trail. Disney's Android phone app revealed that Rivers of Light will offer 3 showings AND reserved seating with a special Tusker House meal.
As you can see from the screen shot below, ROL or Rivers of Light will offer reserved seating for guests who book a special package (not yet released) at the restaurant.
Hopefully, we'll hear some details soon about the cost and when bookings will actually open. No word yet on whether Rivers of Light will be a Fastpass+ offering.

What do you think will happen if you already have a TH reservation? Will they just convert it to the ROL package?

given that the "regular" reservation is still there, almost certainly not. I'm sure you will be able to call and convert the reservation for an increased price.

Yes, it should be the same type of booking. Dinner and guaranteed seating. ROL is a much smaller seating area.
