Limited Time Magic: Bert to join Mary Poppins at Epcot, but NO Nanny Poppins

When Bert joins Mary Poppins this week at Epcot for her Limited Time Magic meet and greets (December 16-22) she will wear her White “Jolly Holiday” dress.  If the weather turns cold, like tonight she may have some special outer wear with the costume, but will NOT be wearing Nanny Poppins at all at Epcot.

Meet and greet times:

  • 12:00 PM – 12:35 PM
  • 01:00 PM – 01:40 PM
  • 02:00 PM – 02:40 PM
  • 03:50 PM – 04:30 PM
  • 04:50 PM – 05:30 PM
  • 05:50 PM – 06:30 PM

She does however still occasionally wear the Nanny costume at the Magic Kingdom on cold mornings and still has it available at 1900 Park Fare.

Limited Time Magic: Duffy’s Secret Santa Celebration at the Magic Kingdom

Dates:  December 9 to December 13, 2013

Times:  9:00am-1:00pm, 1:40pm-3:00pm & 3:30pm-4:30pm

 Celebrate Secret Santa Week at Magic Kingdom park, where Duffy the Disney Bear and a few of your favorite Disney friends are getting into the holiday spirit! As part of Limited Time Magic, stop by the Town Square Christmas Tree on Main Street, U.S.A. where you can receive a warm winter hug from Duffy, dressed up in his Christmas finest. Plus, when you visit other Disney friends throughout the park, they’ll each have a specially decorated keepsake card just for you—visit each Disney pal to collect them all! It’s yet another magical holiday offering, only from Limited Time Magic.

Animal Kingdom characters in Christmas attire and a farewell to Camp Minnie Mickey

We began our day about 9:11 am on a Satruday morning.  We had Fastpass+ reservations for the Mickey and Minnie meet, Expedition Everest and Finding Nemo the Musical.  We started out day with some photos of the Animal Kingdom Christmas tree.

Limited Time Magic: Pirate’s Week with a special Captain Jack and Mack meet and greet

EuroRob dropped into the Magic Kingdom one day this past week to pay a visit to the Limited Time Magic: Pirate’s Week and ended up with a great treat and a very Limited Time Magic experience.  He began his afternoon with a meet with Jake who was meeting in the Adventureland Verandah where Ariel and Eric used to meet and Tarzan and Jane meet during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.  Jake usually only offers regular meets in Hollywood Studios.

Limited Time Magic: Unleash the Villains. What happens when you unleash them?

Disney Parks promoted the “Unleash the Villains” night almost a year ago, yet they were thoroughly unprepared for the crowds that descended on both Disneyland and Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World and the front line Cast Members would have to bare the brunt of the storm of anger that ensued once the Villains were unleashed.  I guess we should know that taking a villain off his leash would create chaos, right?  When the hosts are the leader of hell and his compatriots, one should expect Pain and Panic among the guests.
