Will Cosmic Rewind Close with This New Permit?

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind still garners high wait times at EPCOT and for good reason.
Not only is it the longest fully-enclosed coaster in any Disney park, but it is also the first reverse-launch and first omnicoaster Disney has done.
Over the years, Disney has made several changes to Cosmic Rewind particularly to help manage crowd control as Guests pass through the various pre-show rooms.
Cosmic Rewind Permit
Recently, Walt Disney World filed a new permit for Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. This is for "General Construction" with the contractor listed as Coastal Steel Inc.
Disney has not made an announcement for a planned refurbishment. This may be for general maintenance rather than a substantial change.
Since the attraction opened in May 2022, Cosmic Rewind has not closed for a refurbishment. However this secret refurbishment could cause a attraction to close briefly.
Cosmic Rewind Technical Difficulties
One feature of this attraction that has suffered technical issues over the past several months is in the Teleportation Room. For those guests who have enjoyed this attraction before, you may remember that when you enter this Teleportation Room you are told to stand inside the lighted ring.
New permit is now filed for Cosmic Rewind for "General Construction" with an expiration date of 2027.
After a series of bright flashing lights, the walls that once surrounded you vanish and you are now standing in the Nova Corps Ship. This is such an amazing special effect that truly allows you to feel immersed in this storyline.
Possibly this permit could help with this immersive feature.
