How To Get Guaranteed Entry For runDisney
You may wonder if there is a way to guarantee a runDisney event registration. There are a couple of ways!
Option 1 is to be "Perfect." A runDisney "perfect runner" is someone who has run every race since that race began! When at the races you will see these perfect runners with a different colored bib honoring their amazing achievement.
Option 2 is to run for a charity. runDisney events hold bibs for charities. Runners can sign up under a charity and raise money for that specific charity. Each charity has fundraising requirements, so be sure to read all the details so that you know exactly what you are signing up for.
There are three ways to guarantee entry into a runDisney race event, "Perfect" status, charity, or Club runDisney Gold or Platinum Membership.
The third option to guarantee entry is to hold a Gold or Platinum Club runDisney Membership. Club runDisney still sold out this year even after losing a big perk.
Perfect Status Returns
At the 2026 Springtime Surprise Weekend, athletes that had run every 10 miler or Challenge for the Springtime Surprise Weekend noticed a "Perfect" on their race bibs.
runDisney had stated when the Springtime Surprise Weekend began that there would be no "Perfect Runners" for this weekend.
Earlier this week, athletes who received "Perfect" status on their bibs, reported that they received emails for guaranteed registration for the event that they have achieved "Perfect" status on.
This is very exciting for the athletes that can take advantage of this perk. However, some are probably disappointed as Disney had shared that this status would NOT be available, and they may have missed an event thinking "Perfect" wasn't a possibility.
General Registration
General Registration for the 2027 Springtime Surprise Weekend will take place on July 7, 2026 at 10 AM ET.
The 2027 Springtime Surprise Weekend has been moved to April 8-11, 2027.
Keep in mind, the dates for the 2027 Springtime Surprise Weekend has changed. The event will now take place April 8-11, 2027.
