Disney World Dining Shifts From Only Chicken Strips and Burgers

Don't get us wrong, we love Disney chicken strips, but we also enjoy having a few more adventurous options. Check out the new exciting menu item just announced.

Animal Kingdom Dining

Breaking: New Phased Closure for Disney's DinoLand

When DinoLand USA officially closed at Disney's Animal Kingdom, it also closed the Restaurantosaurus dining location. This was a favorite dining spot for many families, offering a great menu for "picky" adventurers.

Disney shared that the menu for Restaurantosaurus would move to Harambe Market.

This was great news for Guests who enjoyed dining at Restaurantosaurus, but not so much for Guests who favored the more authentic menu once offered at Harambe Market.

Harambe Market Reopening

This was the Harambe Market menu when they reopened in February:

  • ⅓ lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger: $13.99
  • ⅓ lb Angus Cheeseburger: $13.29
  • Savanna Salad: $11.29
  • Chicken Strips: $10.99
  • Harissa Chicken Wrap: $10.99

Guests can enjoy an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, Joffrey's coffee, and alcoholic beverages.

The Kid's Meals are pretty standard and each include 2 sides:

  • Cheeseburger : $7.49
  • Chicken Strips: $8.99
  • PB&J Uncrustable: $7.29

What may be the most interesting addition is the Kubwa Cookie "topped with chocolate cream cookies, potato chips, m&m's, and dulce de leche". This is available for $5.29.

New Harambe Market Menu Item

Finally, Disney offers an authentic entree to Harambe Market with the Tanzanian Meat Pie. This entree features African-spiced beef and lamb in warm Naan bread, with Kachumbari and Tzatziki, served with a choice of side.

This is offered for $13.49. Many Disney World Guests would love to see even more food options offered at Harambe Market, but this is a great new addition.
