Guest Trespassed at Disney World After Assaulting a Character
Yet another example of Disney Guests behaving badly. Will this altercation change this popular character interaction?
Bad Guest Behavior

Over the last few years, we have seen our fair share of poorly behaved Guests. Whether that be someone dressing up as Mickey Mouse, brawls breaking out, or a drunk man shutting down the Skyliner, we feel like we have seen it all.
Disney even went so far as to post a courtesy reminder on the website over one year ago.
Be the magic you want to see in the world. You must always remember to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. Those who can't live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World Resort.
Celebracion Encanto

In 2024, EPCOT debuted the popular "¡Celebración Encanto!" show daily. Guests can sing along with their favorite songs from Disney's Encanto. At the end of the show, both Bruno and Mirabel join the guests.
This does not serve as a formal meet and greet, but rather a fun moment for Guests to dance along with their favorite characters. Due to this pop-up character interaction, Mirabel and Bruno do not sign autographs and are only available for photos for a limited time.
Last week, Diego Rodriguez was visiting EPCOT with an adult female and a child. Rodriguez found himself with a lifetime ban from Walt Disney World after an altercation with Mirabel.
Guest Verbally Assaults Cast Member and Mirabel

According to reports from Fox News, Rodriguez tried to push past other Guests to have a picture taken of his family with Mirabel. A Disney Cast Member attempted to diffuse the situation. The child with Rodriguez ran to Mirabel while the adult female waved their autograph book towards Mirabel.
The guest received a lifetime trespass after verbally assaulting a Cast Member and Mirabel.
When this family was told that Mirabel was not signing autographs at this time, Rodriguez reportedly grabbed the Cast Member's arm and began verbally assaulting both the Cast Member and Mirabel.
Rodriguez recevied a lifetime trespass notice banning him from Walt Disney World Resort property. The Orange County Police held Rodriguez on battery charges.
This was an unfortunate turn of events for all those involved, along with fellow Guests. At this time, the Encanto show remains unaltered at EPCOT.
What do you think of escalation? Do you think more should be done to help protect Cast Members? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
