Disney World's Airport Luggage Now Offered with More Airlines
This is the Disney resort perk that many guests have been waiting for! The initial testing went well and is now expanding even more.
Missing Disney Perks

Disney is taking action after coming under scrutiny for many Disney resort perks missing over the years. Resort Airline Check-In lets Guests check their bags with their airline for their Disney hotel, allowing guests to have a stress-free airport experience.
Unfortunately, this amazing offering disappeared during Walt Disney World's closure for COVID-19. Last spring , we shared that Pop Century was being used to try this new airline check-in for guests flying Southwest.
The Airport Luggage Transfer Program soon expanded to all five Walt Disney World Value Resorts. This includes All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.

Now this perk is expanding to include additional airlines to include American and United Airlines. Disney shares that additional airlines may be added soon.
This service is offered for guests' service both to and from the Orlando International Airport for domestic guests flying Southwest, American, and United Airlines.
This is for Guests staying at All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.
How to register for Disney Airport Luggage Transfer

Fill out the registration form for the Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney service anytime from 30 days to 5 days prior to your departure flight. You will need your Disney Resorts hotel confirmation number and your airline's confirmation number when you register. You will receive a confirmation email after registering.
UPDATE: This news was posted on the Walt Disney World website and then was removed. Now they only list Southwest Airlines. It is unclear if this was an error or if this was simply added too early for this new service for additional airlines.
If you registered more than 7 days before your flight, you will receive luggage tags in the mail. If you registered less than 7 days before your flight, you will not receive luggage tags, but your bags will still be delivered to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!

It's obviously a test to later monitise it for value resorts.
Your upcharge hotel will be included when values generate revenue to pay for your bags for free.
Just like Florida residents APH's pay 17 bucks a day for tixs on the back of your out of state extorsion tickets.
Rope A Dope test to generate revenue. Don't be fooled, pay service is just around the corner. Or forcefully included in your booking price per guest in rooms.
Think Charlie Brown running toward the football to kick the winning field goal, Lucy Van Pelt is the holder..... LOL !
That could very well be the case. What seems like a "perk" may later become an additional fee.
Why is the luggage transfer only for Value Resorts? I would think it should be for Deluxe Resorts as those who pay the most for their accommodations.
I would like to use this and I pay a lot more for my reservations!
That is a very good point. We hoped that after a year, this would be offered at additional resorts by now.
