Chef Mickey's Gets an Exciting New Menu Change

When you think of Disney dining you most likely think of Character Dining. Character meals are a great way to get out of the heat and meet some fun characters.

Enjoying a character meal will let you have a meal without waiting in line to meet characters. Character lines in the park can get long, as there are currently no Lightning Lanes for character meets.

Many guests justify the higher price of Character Dining for this reason even though the actual food may be not worth the cost.

Is Chef Mickey's worth the price?

Chef Mickey's is a buffet meal where guests can also meet some classic Disney characters. Chef Mickey's can be found at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The menu includes traditional favorites, appetizers, entrees, and salads, along with delicious desserts.

Guests dining at Chef Mickey's are in the middle of the magic as the monorail goes right overhead.

Chef Mickey's New Desserts

Starting March 10, 2026, Chef Mickey's will showcase 6 new desserts including:

• Daisy Cookies and Cream Mousse: plant-based cookies and cream mousse
• Donald Duck Cream Puff filled with lemon cream
• Goofy Cupcake: chocolate cupcake with buttercream
• Mickey Mouse Tart filled with cookies and cream mousse
• Minnie Mouse Cheesecake: raspberry cheesecake
• Pluto Tart: vanilla tart filled with coconut haupia and Dole Whip pineapple

On March 10, 2026, Chef Mickey's will feature 6 new desserts.
