Two New Shows Are Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios
Disney's Hollywood Studios is bringing an extra dose of magic with two brand-new entertainment options. Check out the full details for these new shows.
Changes at Hollywood Studios
When Animation Courtyard officially closed on September 25, 2025, it closed two key character locations. The first, with Star Wars Launch Bay, and the second, the Disney Junior meet and greet locations.
While Chewbacca and Darth Vader were relocated with this closure, the Disney Junior characters have been missing.
Disney's Hollywood Studios added a bit of extra magic by bringing both rare characters and new entertainment. This is a great addition to the current construction walls now in place.
Record Setters
One of our favorite parts of the Disney Parks is the "Streetmosphere" performers and entertainment. These take place on the "street" as their name suggests, and offer so much magic and fun to the Parks.
Beginning November 8, 2025, the "Record Setters" will "blend creativity with physical comedy."
Disney describes this act as, "These artists are out to set the record straight-that they're the best of the best of the best! Join in their comical adventures as they attempt to set 'world records' in every show with their exciting and hilarious blend of physical tricks and unique skills."
The "Record Setters" will perform every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday between the Center Stage and Dockside Diner near Echo Lake. Current showtimes: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm (subject to change).
Hollygroove Swingin'
Also debuting on November 8th is the "Hollygroove Swinin'" brass ensemble. Guests are invited to "feel the emotion in motion, fusing the glitz and glam of old-school Hollywood with the pulse of today-jazz and blues mixing with R&B, hip-hop and a touch of pure street energy."

The "Hollygroove Swingin''" will perform every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between the Center Stage and Dockside Diner near Echo Lake. Current showtimes: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm (subject to change).
