Smugglers Run Unexpected Ending

Yesterday, September 21, 2025, friends of Kenny the Pirate Crew shared their unexpected ending on their first-ever mission aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney's Hollywood Studios. They were both given the task of pilots, and the mission was going great.
Guests were trapped aboard Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run for 20 minutes on September 21, 2025
What sounds to be about three-fourths of the way into the mission, the cabin lights came on and the screen went dark. Hondo Ahnaka appeared on the small display panel, trying to make small talk about "passing some time".

Guests heard overhead announcements to remain seated, which was fairly easy to comply with since their seatbelts were locked into place. After 20 minutes, a Cast Member finally opened the flight deck, and Guests could unlock their seatbelts.
Cast Members apologized for the unexpected ending and gave each Guest on board a free Lighting Lane Multi-Pass selection. For a first mission, this was quite unexpected.
