Sohni The Tiger
Sohni the tiger is an adult female tiger that calls Animal Kingdom her home. Did you know that tigers are considered an umbrella species? An umbrella species means that this species helps other species within their habitat. There are fewer than 600 Sumatran tigers left in the wild and managed care!
Last year, Disney announced that Sohni and Conrad had welcomed baby Bakso.
On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, baby Bakso arrived on the Maharajah Jungle Trek accompanied by his mom. Guests that were trying to get a glimpse of him and mom waited in lines that were longer than some attractions! You can read about that HERE.

Cast Members made a birthday to remember for Sohni! She received some exciting birthday fun that included special treats and activities.

Where to Find Sohni and Bakso?
If you want to have a chance to see Sohni, Conrad, and Bakso, you need to head over to Maharajah Jungle Trek. It is located in Asia at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.
Tigers: Bakso, Conrad, and Sohni call the Mahrajah Jungle Trek home.
While there is no guarantee of a tiger sighting, you can certainly try the trail and see if you get lucky! Cast Members are usually on standby to point out animals for you!
