DVC is short for Disney Vacation Club. It is a timeshare run by Disney. DVC has the flexibility of a point system. You can book the time of year you travel and the type of accommodation, including your resort of choice (aka your home resort).

With this style of timeshare, you are not stuck in a particular week every year. You purchase an allotment of points that you can then choose to spend however you would like.

Welcome Home Weeks

Eligible DVC Members can enjoy “Welcome Home Weeks.” “Welcome Home Weeks” will run from August 14 through September 16, 2025. Special offerings will include complimentary treats, special gifts, and fun character meet and greets held at Walt Disney, Disneyland, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort.

Even the DVC Members at home can now enjoy Welcome Home Weeks! DVC has just sent its Members some magical mail. In the latest edition of the Disney Files Magazine (a Disney Vacation Club Magazine), Members received a new limited-edition Disney Vacation Club magnet!

I love it when the Disney Vacation Club sends its Members these special gifts. Members who can’t make it to the parks for the Welcome Home Weeks can still feel some pixie dust.
