In March, the private entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park at Grand California to Disney’s California Adventure was closed. It reopened to Resort Guests in May with new turnstiles!

The Grand California Hotel and Spa’s private entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park temporarily closed beginning in March, for placement of the new turnstiles.

This is an amazing perk of staying at Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa as it is a private entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park. This entrance is only for Guests staying at the hotel.

Once Disney completed the turnstiles at the Grand California, they began work at Pixar Place Hotel’s dedicated park entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park.

Disney shared, “During this time, Guests may access the park through an alternate entrance located in Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa, near GCH Craftsman Bar and Grill.”

Fortunately, this closure wasn’t anticipated to be as long as the Grand California’s entrance closure. This closure was only expected to last about a month.
