New Disney World Attraction Added to Genie+

Genie+ sees a small, yet significant, change today with one new attraction being added to the lineup. Would you use Genie+ for this?

Genie+

Genie+ is Disney’s new-ish paid skip-the-standby service. Instead of waiting in the traditional standby queue, you can select a return time and join the Lightning Lane queue. It is typically much shorter than the regular queue.

The caveat, of course, is that you have to pay for this service and you can only make selections the day of. Previously, FastPass+ is free and you could make selections in advance.

We are looking forward to Disney sharing more details about being able to plan ahead with Genie+.

CommuniCore

Epcot has been under a state of transformation for several years now. However, as of yesterday June 9, all the construction walls are down!

The new CommuniCore Hall and Plaza are really neat areas that Disney can use for shows, festivals, and more. They also added a meet and greet.

Mickey and his pals will meet at this new location, and it is nice that they have an official meeting place. For the past few years, they have been wandering around a bit.

Added to Genie+

This meet and greet has been officially added to Genie+. It appears that the characters meeting are Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. Daisy, Donald, and Pluto are still meeting in other areas of the park.

Hours listed for the attraction are 9:00 am to 9:00 pm so there is plenty of time to use Genie+ for this attraction! You may want to consider getting a return time sooner rather than later during the first days and weeks of the opening.
