Today is Mardi Gras, and Disney just shared opening details for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! You don’t want to miss this so you can start making your travel plans!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
The enchantment of the bayou will illuminate with a celebration during Mardi Gras season hosted by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. It picks up where the movie last left off: with the kiss.
In addition, Mama Odie will reprise her role as the catalyst of that magic. Mama Odie will joke with guests along their journey after a special display of her magic.

Tiana Animatronic
Disney shared some photos of the Tiana animatronic that will be used for the attraction. She looks so beautiful!
We are also particularly excited that the Audio-Animatronics will use the same technology in Hong Kong Disneyland. They are the most advanced animatronics Disney has created to date.

With today being Mardi Gras, we here at Kenny the Pirate were hoping for some kind of announcement for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Disney delivered in a big way!
They just shared the ride will open at Disney World in the summer of 2024! To Disney, summer is anytime between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
While that still leaves a large chunk of time, it certainly narrows it down quite a bit! No word on Disneyland’s opening timeline yet, but we expect it to be towards the end of 2024. The Disneyland version closed in May 2023, which was about 4-5 months after Disney World’s version closed.
