The Disney Dining Plans are back after almost four years, and there have been some changes. If you’re planning a Disney World vacation, purchasing a Disney Dining Plan could potentially save you time and money. The plan offers a certain number of prepaid meals and snacks during your stay, making your vacation feel more all-inclusive.

We have created a guide HERE with everything you need to know about the plan, including what comes with it and how to keep track of everything. You can also find out if the DDP is worth it in 2024 by clicking HERE.

Table Service Credits

For the Table-Service plan, each person in your travel party (ages 3 and up) will receive one Table-Service meal per night, one Quick-Service meal per night, and one snack or non-alcoholic drink (or alcoholic drink for guests over 21) per night of your package stay. The plan also includes one Resort-refillable drink mug.

For example, if you book a four-night package with a Disney Dining Plan, each guest (ages 3 and up) in your party will receive four Table-Service meals, four Quick-Service meals, and four snacks or beverages. These can be used at any time during your four-night stay. To learn how to use your dining plan credits, read HERE.

Is This Change Worth It?

Disney now allows dining plan participants to use their table service credits at Disney World lounges, but is it worth it? Guests can redeem one Table-Service credit for an entree, dessert, and one drink at the lounges. However, entrees are smaller at lounges and not all of them carry desserts.

Dining plan participants can now use their Table-Service credits at Disney World lounges.

Also, you may not be able to trade in a credit for the specialty-crafted cocktails. In general, it’s not worth it to use a lounge for a Table-Service credit. But, if you find yourself with too many credits and want to relax at a lounge, it’s better to spend the credit here than not use it.

Do you plan to purchase the dining plan for your next Disney vacation? If so, will you use your Table-Service credits? Let us know in the comments and share this post with a friend who loves planning for Disney trips.
