Resort Security Checks
Many Disney guests love to stay inside the “Disney Bubble” on Disney property. There are many great perks for Disney Resort guests. From Early Theme Park Entry to free Disney transportation. There are some great reasons to stay on property.
For several years, Disney has started the practice of completing daily room security checks. This allows Cast Members to ensure the safety of guests of that Disney Resort room along with neighboring resort guests as well.
Many guests are not aware of these security checks as they are enjoying the parks or the other great offerings across the resort. Sometimes these room security checks take place while guests are taking a break mid-day and these can be a bit annoying.
New Check Announced
Disney Resorts and the Theme Parks are operational all throughout the year with little downtime. At times, refurbishment work and maintenance must take place while guests are visiting Disney Resorts.
Guests staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort are now notified that a new mandatory maintenance check will be taking place starting tomorrow, November 1st, and continuing through November 3, 2023.
A mandatory sprinkler inspection will take place during these dates from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Guests are notified, “Cast Members and technicians may be entering your Guest Room for a brief visual inspection.”
Mandatory sprinkler inspection will take place at Disney’s Pop Century from November 1st to 3rd.
Guests visiting Pop Century this week will want to keep this in mind if you will be taking mid-day breaks while at the Resort.
