Orlando International Airport, better known as “MCO” for frequent travelers is easily one of the busiest airports in the country! If you travel to Florida on a regular basis, you know that sometimes your airport experience is not quite the best.

Flights are frequently canceled or delayed. Whether it’s the weather, inspection issues or mechanical problems, you never really know what to expect. Fortunately, MCO does try to accommodate their travelers in many different ways.

Plenty of shops and dining experiences are offered throughout the airport. These are great ways to pass some time if your schedule has been disrupted or if you have a long layover or wait until your next flight.

It just doesn’t seem right for Orlando to NOT have some reference to Walt Disney World, right? In the past, MCO has often decorated the airport with some magical touches welcoming guests to the city.

For the 50th anniversary, we saw art installations throughout the airport in honor of Disney World’s 50th anniversary. It was so fun to see Disney pals like Mickey Mouse and Goofy throughout the terminals.

There is also a Magic of Disney store right in the airport. If you want to do some last minute shopping after your trip before heading home, this is a great place to find some Disney souvenirs!

New Murals

Guests can now see brand new murals at the Magic of Disney Store on Level 3, Terminals A and B. We love these murals with Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy and Donald greeting us all from Main Street.

We even see Orange Bird and Dumbo in the background along with The Dapper Dans.

Check out the other new mural. This time we see a nighttime image as everyone is watching fireworks on Main Street in front of the castle. Even Tinker Bell is there!

We love these new murals. They are such a magical way to start your Disney World vacation.

On your next trip to Orlando, be sure to check out the brand new murals at the Magic of Disney Store on Level 3, Terminals A and B!
