The Disney discounts you might be missing

You might be eligible for some big discounts at Disney and not even realize it! Don’t let these discounts pass you by.

Disney Vacations

Disney vacations are expensive! In the past few years with added expenses like transportation and the addition of Genie+, it only seems like taking a vacation to Disney is even MORE expensive than in previous years.

When planning for a vacation to Disney, you need to set aside a budget for a resort, tickets and food. On top of all of those things, you might want to purchase some souvenirs from the trip or do some shopping. Not only that, but if you are not local to any of the theme parks, you have to factor in airfare or fuel expenses if you are driving.

If you are driving to the theme parks or resorts, then you have to include parking expenses as well. All in all, taking a Disney vacation is not cheap and any discounts that are available will help you greatly.

Discounts

Some discounts are pretty easy to spot. Disney also offers Special Offers throughout the year for guests. The easiest way to find these is to go to Disney’s website. Discounts and offers for resorts can be found under the Special Offers tab.

Right now, there are multiple discounts available. Be sure to check out these three room and ticket discounts available for the remainder of the year. If you are already planning for a trip in 2024, Disney just released discounts for 2024. Check those out HERE.

Other Places to Look

Be sure to take advantage of other offers that are usually always available at some point during the year. These Special Offers include discounts for Disney+ subscribers, Disney Visa Cardholders, U.S. Military Members, and Annual Passholders.

Many people also like to take advantage of special gift card offers that are available throughout the year. If you see any of those, be sure to take advantage of them! With the holidays approaching soon, offers like these will definitely become available.

Lifemart

One of the best places to look is Lifemart! You might not even realize you are eligible for these discounts. Lifemart is a website offered for corporate employees. Chances are, if your employer has an account with them, you do too!

You might be wondering, why should you care about Lifemart? Because this benefit will open you up to A LOT of discounts! Discounts are available for virtually anything that you can think of. Some examples of available discounts are for: Travel, Hotels, Car Rentals, Tickets, Electronics, Child Care, Home, Auto and more!

Walt Disney World

One of the very best things about Lifemart is that it offers Disney savings, too! Discounts are available for Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney World, and even for the water parks at Disney.

A couple of months ago, Lifemart was offering steep discounts for special events at Disney World. Members could save up to $30 per ticket for Disney’s Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This promotion is actually still going on at the time of writing.

I (Maggie) often take advantage of these discounts when purchasing theme park and special event tickets.

Breaking it down

Let’s take a look at one example. Right now, if you were to purchase a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for November 13th, it would cost approximately $170 for a single ticket. If you are an Annual Passholder, it will cost you around $160.

If you take advantage of the discount offered to Lifemart members, it will be $145 for the same ticket on the same day. Compared to those other two prices that we just looked at, that is a big difference!

Available Discounts

These discounts are usually available throughout the year. Lifemart will have discounts available for theme park tickets, Florida resident tickets, Water Parks, and Special Events.

If you want to check out Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life at Disney Springs, discounts for that event are also available! Members can save up to $35 on select seats.

One Huge Reason to Use

While I have used Lifemart for discount tickets many times throughout the years of being a member, I never noticed this huge benefit until recently.

We are all familiar with Special Events at Disney World selling out. In fact, at the time of writing, all of the Halloween parties have sold out. We are also beginning to see dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begin to sell out.

However, if you look at the tickets available for the sold out dates for both events at Lifemart, something is different. At the time of writing, tickets are still available for the very last Halloween party taking place on November 1st.

Lifemart members: be sure to check for available dates for special events at Walt Disney World if dates have already sold out at Disney! There may still be some still available.

Just this week, we saw the following dates sell out for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: November 10. While November 10 is not available on Lifemart’s site now, there are instances like with the Halloween Party that sold out dates might still be available!

More great reasons to use

Remember, members can also save on hotels. If you are planning a trip to Disney, there are many Orlando area hotels included in the offers. Some of those offers are even Walt Disney World resorts!

Just doing a quick search on the site shows that resorts with offers available are: Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. If you cannot find availability on Disney’s website or if you want to see if there is a lower rate, it definitely does not hurt to look here.

Lifemart also has discounts available for other theme parks such as Universal or Legoland. With all of the great vacation deals on hotels, airfare and theme park tickets, you could end up having a really great vacation and save your family some money!
