Although no one really wants to be on their phone during vacation, the My Disney Experience app is an invaluable tool while navigating through the Disney Parks. This allows guests to place mobile orders, make Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections, check attraction wait times, and more.

Like with many things at Walt Disney World, Disney is constantly updating the My Disney Experience app and adding new features to make your experience at Disney more enjoyable! Sometimes they are welcome improvements and other times, it might be a huge learning curve for some.

Guests can book Lightning Lane selections with Disney+, make and modify dining reservations, check wait times, and make mobile food orders.

Countdown Update

We often joke that the best way to beat the “Disney Blues” after a vacation is to book another Disney Park vacation. The Walt Disney Company now wants to help you with your countdown.

For years, the Citizen brand has kept the Disney Parks running “on time” if you will. Citizen clocks are not only displayed along the many Disney Park Main Streets, but they are also the official time tracker for all runDisney events.

Now the Citizen brand will help you count down your next magical Disney vacation on the My Disney Experience app and also on the Disneyland mobile app. Simply click on “Future Plans” and tap on your Disney Resort reservation. Your countdown is displayed as the new heading for this page.

This is a great way to count down to your magical vacation and also keep track of when you can book Advanced Dining Reservations and Enchanted Extra experiences.
