Refurbishments are a part of life at Disney theme parks. It’s not uncommon for at least one attraction to be closed at any given time. Restaurants, hotels, and other areas of the property also need freshened up for optimal guest enjoyment.
Refurbishments may take place for various reasons. Whether it be for mechanical issues or cosmetic updates, a refurbishment can take place for many reasons. Based on the nature of the work, the refurbishment may be a few days or several months.
Space Mountain
While riding Space Mountain, you’ll navigate through a futuristic space station as you make your way to Mission Control. And the cool ride vehicle prepares you for a high-flying adventure to the furthest reaches of space.
Be sure and hang on tight as you ascend slowly through a swirling solar field as your rocket powers up and speed through a spectacular spiral nebula. And the ending is the best part taking you twisting and turning through the universe in a whole new exciting way!
