One of Walt Disney World’s most popular characters did not start off life on the silver screen. In fact, he is an EPCOT original who appeared for the first time on the original Imagination Pavillion attraction: “Journey Into the Imagination.” From head to tail, he’s royal purple pigment, and there, viola! You’ve got a Figment!
If you haven’t already heard but now, then you should know that Figment fans got some VERY good news at D23 this weekend. The panelists revealed the big date for the opening of a brand new character meet-n-greet with Figment!
Figment is busily welcoming EPCOT World Travelers to his meet-and-greet location in the Imagination Pavillion. If you or your travel party want to meet him yourself, and you need to know the times for each of his sets, head over HERE.
New Figment Merch!

When and Where to Find The Merch
If you are visiting EPCOT in Walt Dinsey World, and you want the new merchandise, you are in luck. It has already begun to trickle in.
If it is in stock, you will find it in two locations. Check for it at both ImageWorks and Creations Shop. Now, it is highly possible that popular items and sizes will sell out quickly, but restocks happen frequently.
What if you are not at the parks and don’t have a visit planned any time soon? No worries! You can shop the collection online soon, even the Loungefly.
