Halfway to the Holidays
Last month Disney celebrated Halfway to the Holidays, with this they shared lots of information about what is to come this Holiday season! Special announcements regarding the Christmas and holiday season at Disneyland, Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line were all made.
We are so excited to see this special holiday overlay return this year. One fun NEW event that will be beginning this year is a VIRTUAL Event.
12Ks of Christmas
The first-of-its-kind virtual event features three 4K running events and a challenge, all hosted by favorite Disney friends. It’s also a perfect way to stay motivated during the holiday season and keep you from sledding off your training plans for a future runDisney event.
The only thing sweeter than a chorus of Christmas carolers will be the sound of you crossing the finish line. Plus, who doesn’t love a few extra presents during the holidays, especially when they’re for your hard-earned efforts!
Registration opens on July 25, 2023 at 10 AM EST.
All The Details
The first thing to take note is that for this virtual event is you are signing up for all three races, this is different from previous virtual events.
Join Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy during this sweet event as you race along a course of your choice toward the finish line where festive prizes are ready to be unwrapped!
Lace up your shoes and bound through this festive virtual event led by the dazzling duo themselves––Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck!
Dash down the course with Pluto during this howl-iday virtual event and get ready to jingle all the way to the finish line!
