Disney foodies, gather around. There are new steaks and cakes coming to Disney World!
Menu Updates Everywhere
As the seasons change in Walt Disney World, so do many of the food offerings around the parks. It isn’t uncommon to see new flavor profiles featuring seasonal products.
And sometimes it’s just time for an overhaul! For example, Hollywood Brown Derby got an update announcement recently. You can read all about the delectable new offerings here.
Now, another Walt Disney World Restaurant is getting a menu revamp! It’s just around the corner from EPCOT.
Yachtsman Steakhouse
If you head out International Gateway you can walk or take a boat to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. There, you will find one of Disney’s signature dining experiences in Yachtsman Steakhouse.
Yachtsman Steakhouse has long been lauded as being a delicious place to enjoy steak in Walt Disney World. In fact, while there are certainly other menu offerings, steak is their specialty.
And now you can also grab some new special steak and other items! You don’t even have to wait. The new additions are available now.
New Menu Additions
Here is a look at how Yachtsman Steakhouse recently upgraded the menu with the addition of several new items. First up is a plant-based dish called Trumpet Mushroom “Scallop.”
Ordering this dish will bring you “Scallops” made of Trumpet Mushrooms along with Power Grain Pilaf, Braised Kabocha Squash, and Yuzu-Spinach Emulsion. It sounds like a gloriously rich plant-based dish.
Next, be sure to consider the new steak offering. You can now order your Filet Mignon served Oscar-style with crab, asparagus, and béarnaise!
This enhancement is going to cost a bit more than the traditional fillet offering. But, if you love Oscar-style steak, you might need to give yourself permission to splurge and indulge.
Don’t forget to consider steakhouse sides to accompany your meal. Right now you can enjoy two new ones. Hot Honey-Bourbon Brussels Sprouts with chili-candied walnuts and Truffle Macaroni & Cheese are both on the menu.
With these two delectable new dishes and all the other side offerings, you may encounter a problem. You may have trouble choosing just one!
Finally, save room for dessert. Now you can order a darling dish that sounds as fun to eat as it looks.
Order the Chocolate Cake, featuring chocolate biscuit, 65% dark chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream, and raspberry. It is built to look like a chocolate sand castle, perfect for an evening at the Yacht club.
