EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
It is beginning to look like springtime at Walt Disney World. At EPCOT the International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom. There is something for everyone at this festival with beautiful topiaries, a peaceful butterfly garden, a fun scavenger hunt, the Garden Rocks concert series, and of course, great outdoor kitchens.

Northern Bloom Outdoor Kitchen
The Northern Bloom outdoor kitchen is located in Canada and offers Seared Scallops and Beef Tenderloin. During previous visits, I (Donna) enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin. This is a great dish and the blend of tenderloin, whipped potatoes, and vegetables is delicious. You can check out the review of the Seared Scallops HERE.
This year Northern Bloom features a brand new dessert, the Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake. The base is a dense chocolate bundt cake. This is coated with a rich, chocolate topping with a caramel drizzle.
The center features a cream custard filling. Each flavor of this dessert worked wonderfully. Oftentimes cakes and desserts tend to be a bit dry and lacking in flavor. This dish may not be as beautiful as some desserts, but it is one of the most delicious desserts I (Donna) have enjoyed at Walt Disney World to date.
The Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake is so delicious and available for $4.50 at the Northern Bloom outdoor kitchen in Canada. I am hopeful that it will return for future festivals as well.
