Big Entertainment Changes
Walt Disney World shared that entertainment would return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in a BIG way this summer. This included the return of some of our favorite characters, the fun return of the acrobatic tumble monkeys, and the opening of the new “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond.”
One of these big changes is that the many kites featured in the Disney Kite Tails show could be viewed throughout the day along the Discovery River.
Final Show
Earlier we shared that Disney’s Kite Tails performances would soon come to an end. Disney Kite Tails “take the magic of nature and Disney storytelling to new heights, immersing everyone in a gala performance of color and movement.”
Previously Guests were only able to enjoy this show at the Discovery River Theatre near DinoLand U.S.A. Over the summer, these performances continued as well as were randomly seen throughout the day. Recently, we shared that the Kite Tails performances would come to an end.
The final performance was set for Friday, September 30, 2022. Earlier today, we shared that the Disney World Parks will be closed on both Wednesday, September 28th, and Thursday, September 29th. At this time Walt Disney World is set to reopen on Friday, September 30th.
Today, Cast Members were told that the 3:10 pm show of Kite Tails would be the final showing. This is sad news for guests hoping to enjoy this unique show one final time on Friday, September 30th.
