Are you looking to book a reservation for a Disney Resort? Check out the current Disney Resort limited availability.
Disney Resort Restrictions
In the past, Disney has issued certain restrictions when booking a Disney Resort reservation.
Walt Disney World began to block Resort single-day Resort stays last year. On the My Disney Experience app, when Guests requested a single night stay at a Disney Resort it showed that there was no availability.
Although Guests found availability at the same Resort for the same date when requesting two or more nights. Although Disney did not announce this resort restriction, we listed a few reasons for these possible restrictions HERE. These restrictions were lifted with a few exceptions last December. Read more about this HERE.
With the uncertain weather patterns of Hurricane Ian, guests see even more resort restrictions.
Unavailable Dates
Guests hoping to make a new Disney Resort Reservation this week may be out of luck. Recently, we began covering Tropical Storm Ian and its potential impact on Disney World. It is expected to intensify into a Major Hurricane (Category 3 or stronger) as it approaches Florida.
Right now, Florida is projected to be hit by Wednesday with hurricane-force winds and heavy rainfall. Disney issued a statement late Saturday night that they are operating under normal conditions. You can read that full statement HERE. Earlier we shared that Fort Wilderness issued a warning to guests with current reservations. Check this out HERE.
In preparation for Hurricane Ian, Walt Disney World no longer offers resort availability starting today, September 26th, through Thursday, September 29th. Disney Resort reservations are once again available starting on Friday, September 30th.

We pray for all guests visiting Walt Disney World and those living in the path of Hurricane Ian.
