If you’ve ever experienced a Disney Christmas event in the Disney parks, you know it’s a magical time full of beautiful decorations, Christmas songs, and holiday themed treats. There’s something extra special about meeting your favorite Disney characters in their Christmas outfits.

It’s no secret that Disney creates spectacular holiday events, and we have seen many changes to the events for the last few years. Many Disney fans anticipate the drop for Disney’s one-of-a-kind Halloween and Christmas parties each year. These events have been known to sell out VERY quickly!

Some of my favorite memories throughout my childhood include sipping hot chocolate, eating snickerdoodles, and standing under fake snow while watching Disney Christmas parades. These events have changed a lot since my childhood memories, but their warm memories stay the same.

The parks need to better manage their crowds and cancel the Magic Key. The locals who come daily ruin the experience for families who travel to visit. Navigating the crowds is virtually impossible and as stated the “nickel and dime- ing” is relentless. I don’t think this is Walt’s dream …… he did personally sew my name on my ears in 1957 in Fantasyland-Anaheim.

Oogie Boogie Bash failed to wow me, especially after mostly positive experiences with MNSSHP in 2017 and 2018. Considering the price point was $100 more than I paid for my last Halloween party, yet it seemed far more crowded and convoluted than it’s Orlando counterpart I pretty much have vowed to stop private events until the parks reduce the nickle-and-dime mentality.
