A new refurbishment is scheduled at Walt Disney World. Be sure to check out the dates to see how this may affect your next trip to EPCOT.
Refurbishments at Walt Disney World
No one really likes to hear that their favorite attraction will be under refurbishment during their trip. Attractions, buildings, and even sidewalks need to be maintained, and refurbishments help the parks run smoothly. Almost every trip you take, you are bound to run into some type of refurbishment.
From resorts to transportation, and even to the streets of Main Street, there is always work to be done at the Disney Parks. In August, the Walt Disney World Liberty Square Riverboat was closed for guests for a brief refurbishment, but it has reopened once again. Refurbishment is now scheduled for EPCOT.
The America Pavilion is located between Italy and Japan Pavilions. If you’re walking from Epcot’s front World Showcase entrance, it’s halfway around the World Showcase lagoon. You can see all many of the great features of this pavilion in Susan’s guide.
A Refurbishment is now scheduled for The American Adventure. At the American Adventure, guests feel America’s inspiration to greatness in an inspiring retelling of America’s history. In this dramatic attraction featuring 35 Audio-Animatronics figures, digital rear-projection images on a 72-foot screen, and patriotic songs, you’ll watch as America’s story unfolds.
This show will close on September 19th and, at the time of this writing, a reopening date has not been set. Currently, the Walt Disney World calendar extends through November 6, 2022. The American Adventure does not show operating hours for any dates after September 19th through November 6th.
