Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend
With Walt Disney World still in the midst of their 50th anniversary celebration and runDisney celebrating their 30th anniversary of the marathon celebration, this event is going to be a big one!
Today is the first day of registration for the big event. However, as all guests have seen before the website is currently experiencing technical issues. Is anyone really surprised?
The queue for registration for the event was set to open today, at 9:45 a.m. ET with registration opening at 10:00 a.m. ET. As of 11:14 am ET this morning, runDisney’s website remains crashed and brings guests to a blank page or error message.
Update
runDisney’s Facebook page posted the following update: Attention #runDisney community: We are working on runDisney.com and appreciate your patience as we correct the issues. We will provide an update when available.
runDisney’s website crashed during open registration for Walt Disney World’s Marathon Weekend event
No further update has been posted at the time of writing and guests are still waiting to register for this popular event.

There are a lot of us that can't even get in the queue. We keep seeing a picture of the Seven Dwarfs with the message We're Working On It. Sorry Disney you messed up! And who has time to keep checking this site all day!

I've been in the queue screen with the spinning circle taking me nowhere for over an hour and a half! runDisney has updated it at 10:37, 11, 11:15 and now 11:30 to say they're working on it, thanks for your patience, and most importantly, stay in the queue. Hoping I get in after all this!!!
